Danube Properties

Danube Properties is the real-estate arm of Danube Group, which Rizwan Sajan founded in Dubai in 1993 as a building-materials trader and which also runs the Danube Home furnishings chain. The property company was launched in 2014 under Mr Sajan as founder and chairman, with Adel Sajan as managing director, and has since built across Al Furjan, Arjan, Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai Studio City, International City, Business Bay, Dubai Maritime City and Sheikh Zayed Road.

How they build

Danube works to a consistent formula: fully furnished apartments, amenity lists that run into the dozens, and the 1% monthly payment plan it popularised in Dubai, which spreads most of the price across construction instead of front-loading it. Unit mixes lean towards studios and one-bedrooms in mid-market communities – the stock that rents fastest. The trade-off is density and compact layouts, so compare sizes and price per square foot, not the headline price.
